The reason I'm writing about it now is that I just got an email from Apple telling me they've taken it off the market. If you're an author who's ever had a book banned by Apple, you know the kind of FUCK YOU reaction it elicits. Not just because they've banned your book, but because they go out of their way to pretty much call you a child molester. Makes me feel like a criminal every time.
And this happens a lot. Apple bans almost all of Lexi's work. They don't allow pseudoincest erotica (stories about step-family members fucking) on their site.
But this is kinda weird. TEACH ME has been on the market for almost a year (it was published September 10, 2014). It sold well at iTunes. So... it took a year for them to decide it was too dirty?
Fine. Whatever. Well, not really "Fine. Whatever." but what am I going to do? Argue with Apple?
Here's what I did: I plugged in the link for TEACH ME at Kobo, and want to know what I got?

Gee thanks, Kobo--for banning my book and not even having the courtesy to let me know. I looked up a few more books and found they'd done the same thing. Just quietly removed books from sale without informing me.
Yeah, this is a book of smut. I won't argue with you there. But I'm getting sick of ebook retailers banning shit left and right.
So what am I going to do about it?
