I heard about the Jungfrau mountain range on a travel show. It's a triple peak, and villagers long ago came up with the myth that the middle one's a monk, keeping the young maiden on one side safe from the ogre on the other.

called Jungfrau on one side and an ogre, Eiger, on the other. In the
