Monstrous Obsession is a real departure, for me.  I've never written anything like it.  The 20,000-word novella is a ghost story, of sorts. The house Artemis moves into with her biker boyfriend Budd is haunted by an extremely powerful incubus. This demonic spirit can take over men's bodies and make them... do things... to Artemis. If you don't like rapey monsters, this is not the book for you. (And if you do, it is.) 
 

Artemis has never relied on a man for anything.  When she moves in with her biker boyfriend Budd and his teenaged son Vincent, she worries she’s losing her independence. Little does Artemis know the moment she sets foot inside Budd’s big house, family dynamics will be the least of her worries.

Something strange lives in Budd’s creaky old house, and it’s far more powerful than any human being. Artemis senses it watching her. How could she anticipate the intense, horrific evil she would encounter in Budd’s home?
