Another Tearful Goodbye: Six Sentence Sunday is Gone

Maybe I'm late to the pity party with this announcement, but I've only just discovered that Six Sentence Sunday has shut down operation--hot on the heels of free erotica sites like Oysters and Chocolate and Every Night Erotica.

Six Sentence Sunday was a nice little marketing thingy (sign up your blog, then on Sunday post 6 sentences from one of your books, stories, or WIPs).  It had a wide following, too. Now it's gone. *poof*

Here's the seemingly hasty post that appears at http://sixsunday.com/:

Six Sentence Sunday has come to close.

This site does not endorse any sites, Twitter feeds, Facebook groups, etc duplicating the concept of Six Sentence Sunday or its efforts.

So, I guess that message is pretty clear.

Another one bites the dust.
Pity.

Rest assured, I'll never leave you.
Love always,
Giselle

#SixSunday ~ Giselle Got You "In the Eye"

Hello Cruel World!

Wait... what?

Let's begin again, shall we? Welcome to Six Sentence Sunday!

Today's 6 come to you from my new release "In the Eye," a stormy multicultural MMF menage.  Not much set-up, here.  Steamy scene featuring two guys with a tornado fetish and their unwitting fellow road-tripper:

“Yeah,” Dale whispered. “Don’t stop.”
“Are you seriously this turned on just because of a tornado?” Susitna asked.
“It’s not just the tornado, and it's not just him,” Xu said, raising his voice over the windstorm. He tore out of his top and pushed off his bottoms to reveal the hard dick Dale had come to know and love. “Lots of people find storms sexually thrilling.”

#SixSunday Cougars and Jackals: Experience Comes With Age

...or should I say experience COMES with age?  Huh?  Wink-wink-nudge-nudge...

It's been a big week for me, antho-wise.  My work appears in three new anthologies: Lover Unexpected: Manlove Edition, Lover Unexpected: Sappho Edition, and this one--Cougars and Jackals, coming to you from none other than Xcite ebooks.

I wrote a comedy called "Separation Anxieties" for this book.  Kind of a swaperooni: separated husband and wife trying to make each other jealous by getting down and dirty with a couple of young'uns.  Oh, by the way, the husband teams up with a dude he finds online and the wife with a young woman she picks up at a lesbar.  So, that's always fun.

Here's 6 sentences from "Separation Anxieties"

“Oh my God!” Alyssa was standing against the doorjamb, laughing her tight little ass off. “Which one is your husband?”

Both men looked up in that moment, and the expression of shock on Cliff’s face was absolutely priceless.

“The fatter, older one,” Judy said, pointing to the naked man with the twink between his legs. “The other I’ve never seen before in my life.”

Heh.  You can read this and a whole bunch of other older/younger stories in Cougars and Jackals (which, I gotta say, is priced ridiculously low. I'm not sure how long that's going to last):

Happy Sunday!

#SixSunday Dennis and Dad

Well, this is timely! Today I'm posting six sentences from my gay father's day story "Dennis and Dad."  This is one of my few non-erotic titles, focused on family events rather than sex and romance.  Although, come to think of it, there's an eternal romance in this story that moves me to tears--between Dennis and Chris's father, who is aging faster than either of these men can bear.

The scene I've chosed to showcase is a subdued but emotional moment between Chris and his dad's partner Dennis as they begin a difficult discussion about Dad's apparent oncoming dementia:

***
Dennis bent down in front of an herb garden full of weeds and some parsley. Chris bent down, too, and helped pull out the errant grasses and clover.

“I’m worried,” Dennis said. His tone of voice was casual as always, but Chris was troubled by the statement.

Chris nodded even though Dennis wasn’t looking at him. “Me too.”
***

Dennis and Dad is available now, and on sale this month for only $0.74 at Untreed Reads: http://store.untreedreads.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=11&products_id=425

Six Sentence Sunday - Bobbing for Peaches, a lesbian erotic anthology

It feels like forever since I've participated in Six Sentence Sunday, but realistically I doubt if it's been a full month. What new releases have come out in that time?

Well, the first that springs to mind is lesbian mini-anthology from Xcite. It's named after my contribution, a milky messy food fetish story called Bobbing for Peaches.

Here are today's 6. They are very... sensual.

Jocelyn gazed down as Melanie looked up, an expression of sheer supplication glinting in her eyes. ‘You’re getting me so wet, baby. Finger-fuck me, OK?’

‘OK.’ Melanie traced her fingernails through Jocelyn’s sopping pubic hair, zeroing her thumb in on her lover’s erect clit.

Jocelyn jumped when Melanie touched it.

Bobbing for Peaches is available now from Xcite and a bunch of other e-tailers.

Happy Sunday!

Six Sentence Sunday - The Rococo Room

The Rococo Room, my erotic paranormalish romance, happens to be available absolutely FREE at the moment (December 9-13, 2011) and it also happens that the first paragraph in The Rococo Room is six sentences long, so...

(The first) Six Sentences from The Rococo Room:

Delia scurried into the first empty room off the main hallway. Collapsing in the corner chair, she stole her new phone from the side pocket of her hideous black pants. Her heart clenched as she sent chasing glances in every direction. She wasn’t supposed to use her mobile in the gallery, and no good could come of getting caught. The coast was clear. Hunched over like the Virgin protecting her sacred Son, she flipped her phone open.

Kids today and their text messages! LOL

Obsessive love is strangely sad when it's as naive as Delia's. But she'll learn. The small town girl in the big city will learn fast.

Oh yeah, and get The Rococo Room for FREE--do it now!

Hugs,
Giselle

Six Sentence Sunday - The Red Satin Collection

This week's Six Sentences come from my newest release, a collection of all three stories in my Red Satin series, aptly called The Red Satin Collection.

In case you're not familiar with my Red Satin series, it's Christmas-themed transgender lesbian erotic romance with a heaping spoonful of family drama. The following 6 are from Maisie and Regan's kinky Christmas morning sex:

With the most puckish grin Regan had ever seen, Maisie pulled away.

Regan’s breasts went instantly cold without Maisie’s caress. Her nipples drew up into buds so tight her sensitive flesh actually hurt. The pain felt so good it distracted her from her longing as Maisie’s fingers slipped away from her clit.

“What are you doing?” Regan asked as Maisie unscrewed the oak finial from the bedpost. The somewhat ornate, long and rather wide piece came off easily in her hands, gleaming like gold.

Can you say bedknobs and broomsticks? Yikes! No time-traveling bed in my stories, though. LOL Wow, I really want to watch that movie now...

The Red Satin Collection is available as an ebook and in print!

The ebook is available from:
loveyoudivine Alterotica (the publisher)

Six Sentence Sunday - Good Neighbors, Threesomed

In case you haven't heard, I'm very excited about a new anthology called Threesomed. It contains my story Good Neighbors, about which I blogged extensively yesterday. So today I'll leave the intro at this: prudish wife, gang bang in the woods.

Six Sentences from Good Neighbors:

Gazing at the men in her midst, Prudence licked her lips like a wolf on the prowl. The look in her eye was new to John, but he no less recognized it as lust. Unmistakable.

There was his perfect little wife stretched naked on a velvet-covered log, looking like she'd die without a good fuck. He couldn't believe it. This had to be a dream.

Six Sentence Sunday - Food and the Five Body Blade

This Six Sentence Sunday happens to coincide with #BAD11. While I didn't sign up to be a part of Blog Action Day this year, its theme of FOOD got me searching for an excerpt that involves...well, food!

I'm not really sure why this one came to mind. It's from my short story Five Body Blade, when rich bitch Miki and her toy boy Theo are dining at a fancy restaurant. At this point, she's gearing up to tell him she wants to organize a gang bang with Theo and some of his college buddies. (Yeah, you heard me right)

“Do you have five friends?” Miki asked.

Theo devoured an eager spoonful of gumbo, immediately regretting his haste. It burned his palate, but he couldn’t very well spit it out. He’d just have to suffer through. After a sip of water, he answered, “I’ve never counted my friends, but yeah, there are at least five of them. Why?”

Why indeed, sweet innocent Theo. Why indeed...

Five Body Blade is published by loveyoudivine Alterotica and available from Amazon and many other etailers.

Six Sentence Sunday - Red Satin Christmas, Trans Lesbian Romance!

I chose the following six sentences for two reasons: a) It's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada and this little except involves turkey, and b) It's from Red Satin Christmas, the third book in my transgender lesbian romance series RED SATIN, which hits the market on Friday (October 14th).

Six Sentences from Red Satin Christmas:

Linda followed Regan's father and a monstrous golden turkey into the dining room, saying, “Just set that at the head of the table. I’m the designated carver around here.”

That made Regan smile. Shouldn’t be a man’s domain, slicing up the bird. Women get stabby, too. Good practice.

If, by chance, you'd like to prepare for the third Red Satin story by reading the first two, you can get a copy of Red Satin (1) here and The Night Before Red Satin Christmas (2) here!

Six Sentence Sunday - Eclipse the Stars, trans lesbian erotic romance

Six. Sentence. Sunday-Sunday-Sunday!

Today's 6 come to you from my very latest release, a trans lesbian erotic romance short called Eclipse the Stars.

Eclipse the Stars is part of Torquere Press' 2011 Charity Sip Blitz, which means all proceeds from the sale of this ebook go to this year's charitable organization, It Gets Better. I don't usually push hard for you to buy, buy, buy, but this is for queer youth, so... buy, buy buy!

Short little set-up: Jody is an actress who isn't getting a hell of a lot of work these days. She's worried about fading looks, and monstrously jealous of her girlfriend Renata, a post-op trans woman who seems to wake up more beautiful every morning:

When they stopped at a light, Renata took one hand off the wheel to grab Jody's. "What's wrong?"

Jody forced a laugh as she flicked down the passenger visor. She fluffed her bangs with her spare hand. "You know, a few years ago I would look in the mirror and see Jackie from
That 70's Show. Now I look in the mirror and see Jackie from Roseanne."

Eclipse the Stars is $1.99, and my royalties as well as the publisher's share, cover artist's, everybody's--everything gets donated to It Gets Better. You can buy this transgender lesbian short from Torquere Press.

Six Sentence Sunday - Faithful John and the Dungeon Ravens

I was going to pull 6 from my WIP this week, but it's on my other computer and I'm tired so...that's not going to happen. Instead, I have a saucy 6 sentences from an older BDSM/rope bondage fairy tale release with Xcite ebooks: Faithful John and the Dungeon Ravens (which, btw, is now only $0.99 and that's pretty killer because I think it used to be $2.49)

In this loose adaptation of the Grimm Brothers' tale Faithful John, the queen's untimely death leaves her son in charge of the brothel-like castle dungeon. Though her devoted servant, Faithful John, promised the queen he would keep the young man from the cursed Mistress Mei, nothing can divide royalty and young love. When the young king asks for her hand in marriage, she realizes her acceptance is a death sentence and says yes even so. Can Faithful John save Mistress Mei from her prescribed fate, or will his devotion see him turned to stone?

“Nothing in my ass, if you don’t mind.”

“Don’t worry, not my specialty,” Mistress Mei replied, her aroma heavy with spice but uplifted by the scent of oranges. When she breathed, her silk top rippled against her chest. Her dark nipples were hard and amply visible through the fabric.

The king smirked. “What is your specialty?”

Six Sentence Sunday - Red Satin, A Trans Lesbian Romance

I've been procrastinating a lot this week. I mean... A LOT. And I'll tell you why: I'm working on the third story in my "Red Satin" trilogy, a set of three transgender lesbian erotic romance e-books, which will ultimately be published together in paperback by loveyoudivine Alterotica. But the thing is... I have to actually FINISH the series before that can happen.

What's with the procrastination? Well, a lot of people really like these stories. The second is a cliff-hanger, and I've promised fireworks in the third story. The pressure's really getting to me. Crikey, writing erotica shouldn't be this stressful!

Anyhoo, all that is to say this week's Six are from the first story in the trilogy, aptly titled, "Red Satin." A little background: Regan and Maisie have known each other since they were kids, back when Maisie was Mark. Regan's so hot for this girl--in love, even if she doesn't realize it yet--but Maisie is reluctant to get involved with anyone romantically at this point in her transition.

Six Sentences from Red Satin:

Regan wrapped herself around Maisie's curves, digging her nails into the flesh at Maisie's sides, moaning into the depths of her luscious mouth.

Just as the flames of passion overwhelmed Regan's body, Maisie broke away with a startled look in her eye.

"What's wrong?" Regan asked.

Maisie chuckled nervously, touching only fingertips to her engorged lips. She shook her head and giggled. "I just don't know what I want."

Six Sentence Sunday - Gigglepuss

All week (okay, except yesterday when I announced a new release from another publisher), I've had the spotlight on Xcite Books here at Donuts & Desires, so it's only fitting that this Six Sentence Sunday I showcase 6 from my Xcite lesbian ebook Gigglepuss. Probably my favourite title of all my books, by the way. I love the cover, too.

I kissed her on Tuesday, and she giggled.
I kissed her on Wednesday, and she giggled.
Thursday I vowed not to take another chance. I wasn’t used to being laughed at. Other girls didn’t titter when I pulled them close, took their soft cheeks firmly between my palms, and pressed their luscious lips to mine. Other girls understood the seriousness of my intent, but other girls were not Mitsuki.

Have we all been there, or what? The first time I kissed my girlfriend, she said it made her feel "uncomfortable." *sighs* Oh well, at least she didn't giggle.

Hugs,
Giselle

Six Sentence Sunday - In The Eye

Back from the woods, and this week I bring you six from my newest release, a multicultural Torquere/BBA Menage 'Sip' called In The Eye.

So, In The Eye is an MMF short (around 9,000 words) about three bisexual storm chasers (and a dog), two of whom can't stand each other, crushes here and there, jealousy jealousy everywhere, trapped in a truck on a road trip through tornado alley. Doesn't that sound like the makings of a great erotic comedy? (Yes, it's a comedy)

Here's my six:

"Okay, I'll bite," Dale finally said. "Why are lesbians the chosen people?"

"Because the lowest incidence of HIV/AIDS is in the lesbian population. If AIDS is God's punishment, God must love dykes!"

"Lucky you," Xu said.

Susitna's hand rested on top of her puppy's head as her eyebrows furrowed. "What makes you think I'm a lesbian?"

hehehe...conversations that start like this always end well, right? Every time there's a lull or a joke and you think maybe just maybe they can all get along...*BOOM*

You can read the blurb/excerpt and buy this baby at All Romance or Amazon or Torquere Press.

Hugs,

Giselle

Six Sentence Sunday - Tangled Roots, Coming Together: Neat edition

Yesterday I redeemed my first Kiva gift card in support of a group of female farmers in Mali, so I figured this would be a good Sunday to showcase Six Sentences from the book that earned me that gift card, Tangled Roots, Coming Together: Neat edition.

If you're not familiar with Coming Together: Neat, here's how it works: we authors basically donate a manuscript, you buy a copy of that book, and at the end of the quarter instead of being paid money, we receive Kiva gift cards. We redeem the cards by loaning those funds to entrepreneurs in third world countries, primarily, many of whom are women who would not otherwise be able to secure even small bank loans for their businesses.

So, pardon the blatant plug, but please to consider purchasing a copy of Tangled Roots, Coming Together: Neat edition. It's an erotic romance between hard-nosed business-woman Simone and her artist neighbour Moses. The focus of this book is on Canadian aboriginal cultural identity and healing. Hope you enjoy my six:

Look, just because my parents didn’t instil in me the pride of the Cree people doesn’t mean they weren’t wonderful human beings. They were. They just didn’t want my brothers and I to go through any of the racist shit my father’s people had to endure. They didn’t want us to end up like…”

“Like me?” Moses asked with pointed clarity.

Simone’s stomach lurched.

#LHIFTB Six Sentence Sunday: Friends of Dorothy

For the second Six Sentence Sunday during Donuts & Desires' "Let's Hear it for the Bis" celebration of bisexual fiction, I've selected 6 from my e-book Friends of Dorothy. This story also appears in my anthology My Mistress' Thighs.

Friends of Dorothy is a MMF threesome story. I'm not sure how many books out there involve cross-dressing cowboys, but...this one does:

“Sheryl said you were prancing around in ladies’ underpants,” Ricky said, shattering Leslie’s focus. “She said you didn’t show her a very good time because you were…you know…” He paused to rephrase, tracing his fingernail across the bar’s natural wood grain. Gazing down at the patina, he leaned in so close Leslie felt the heat of Ricky’s cheek against his own. He spoke very softly. “She said you liked dick.”

Six Sentence Sunday - The Rococo Room

This week's six sentences come from a recent release called "The Rococo Room," an urban fantasy-ish, paranormal-ish small-town girl in the big city erotic romance:

His lean chest glowed pale blue as she traced her finger around the black lines of his killer tattoo. Skeleton, rose, broken heart. “What's it about?” she asked.

His pink nipples drew into tight buds as she touched his skin. “Life,” he said.

She tried to understand for herself, but life just didn't seem that painful to her.

Six Sentence Sunday - My Mistress' Thighs

This Six Sentence Sunday, I've decided to pluck six sentences from my latest release, My Mistress' Thighs: Erotic Transgender Fiction and Poetry. I chose this particular snippet (it's from my TG historical/fairy story Secrets of the Solstice Sacrifice) because it so neatly expresses the both the desires and trepidations many of my trans characters feel in relation to romance, attraction, and bodies that don't feel perfectly theirs:

Pressing her soft lips to his ear, Trysta whispered, “I’ve never felt like this before.”

“Neither have I,” he admitted. “You’ve aroused in me the sleeping serpent.”

At that turn of phrase, her body grew limp in his arms. “Yes,” she said. “I know only too well what you mean.”

Hugs,
