Closing My AudioErotica Patreon

I've had to close my AudioErotica Patreon this month, and instead of re-explaining, I'm just going to re-post what I wrote to my patrons:

Hello Friends,

I’ve been putting off writing this post because, well… it’s hard to say goodbye.

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to close down my Patreon.

There are a few reasons for this. My chronic health conditions have made creating audio increasingly difficult. Also, my caregiving responsibilities have made it harder to carve out the time. Being a chronically ill disabled caregiver is, shall we say, challenging. I have very little energy or capacity to do much of anything.

Plus, after posting audio here every week for all these years, I’m running out of things to audio-ify. I’ve managed to get much of my back catalogue recorded over the years.

But mostly, I think it’s simply time for me to let this particular chapter come to an end (haha, a book pun). You should not have been charged for this month, by the way.

I want to say a huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me here. Whether you’ve been a patron for years or you only joined recently, your support has meant so much to me.

I’ll still be publishing stuff out there in the world, although I'm quieter about it these days, now that I've kind of given up on social media. So this isn’t goodbye to my books (please keep buying my books! I still need to pay the rent!), but the Patreon chapter is coming to a close.

I'm trying to think of the best way for you to keep track of the books I'm publishing, since I'm so bad at telling the world what I'm doing, and I think the most straightforward thing might actually be this tool that will let you know when I've released new books: https://books2read.com/author/giselle-renarde/subscribe/1/15708/

Thank you for listening to my stories and supporting my work all these years. I hope you’ve enjoyed listening to my audio as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it.

Take care of yourselves, and thank you.

Much love,

Giselle Renarde
