In Deep with the Nanny: The Boss and the Nanny, Book 1

In Deep with the Nanny is a hot book with an extensive history.

It started life as with my sock puppet, Lexi Wood, as her taboo "Larry" series. Recently, I decided to de-taboo-ify it, make some alterations here and there (like changing Larry's name to Henry) and keep the tale going. If you've read Lexi's "Larry" stories, you will recognize a lot of this book's content, but not all of it. The final chapters are brand-spanking-new.

But that's not all!

The sequel is already written (and released on the Radish app, if you're a Radish reader) and will come out in book form next month.

We're talking about a trilogy, here, so there is more to come. I haven't written the third book yet, but now that I've told you it will exist, I'll have to hold myself accountable.

Back to this book.

In Deep with the Nanny is hot stuff, full of sex, sex scene after sex scene after sex scene featuring a nanny and her boss. If you're a fan of age gap and employer/employee romance, you'll love it!

Sexy Surprises Volume 1: 24 Erotic Stories

Hi, Friends!

Last month I published the first four volumes of Giselle's Erotic Grab Bags, which are mini-anthologies of six assorted erotic stories.

This week, I put all four together in this book called Sexy Surprises Volume 1. I'd only planned to put this out in print, since none of the grab bags were published that way, but at the last minute I decided to upload it as an ebook as well.

So, I put Giselle's Erotic Grab Bags Volume 1, 2, 3, and 4 together to make this book. Twenty-four stories without a theme, just a wild assortment to amuse you.

Enjoy!

Delta's Diary: Big-City Butch in a Small Town #LesbianDiaries #ButchFemme #LesRom #LesFic

Last year, my partner bought a house in a small town. I've been splitting my time between city and country since then.

The first thing I read in this small town's local paper was homophobic rhetoric. The last thing I read in this small town's local paper (and I'm talking two minutes ago, right before I started typing this post) was homophobic rhetoric.

Living in a big city for forty years could not and did not prepare me for life as a small-town queer.

That's probably why I set my latest Lesbian Diaries book in (you guessed it) a small town. When I sat down to start Delta's Diary, I didn't anticipate writing a book about a character finding community in her small town. I remember finishing the first draft and kind of feeling irritable because, although Delta was experiencing some of the same mental health shit I continue to experience, she didn't face the homophobia I felt and still feel confronted by.

Maybe I want to take care of my characters. It's bad enough, what we queers have to endure in the real world. Maybe I wanted my dear Delta to get off a little lighter.

Not that she gets off light. She's had a rough life, and it gets only marginally easier throughout the book.  Her personality is based very much on mine. In fact, the scene where she's walking around town screaming at nobody is based on a true story. I was having a rough night soon after we moved here, and... well, you can read the book to find out more.

By the way, I did not actually eat the Doritos.

Anyway, I feel like I've swallowed a rock. That's what small-town homophobia does to my body.

Sometimes I write books.

Read Delta's Diary today. Consider this my personal invitation to you. I want you to read this book.

Delta's Diary
The Lesbian Diaries, Book 11
by Giselle Renarde

Can a big-city butch find community in a small town?

Delta's sunk about as far as she can go when she moves in with her brother. He's in the same boat: his wife just left him and he's down in the dumps. They don't do much to cheer each other up, but at least co-existence is peaceful.

When Delta crashes the town's Friday Night Queer Club, the girl she's got the hots for is not the one who wants her back. How she ends up with a girlfriend she doesn't even like is anyone's guess, but that's not the only thing ruining her chances with the femme of her dreams. Her crush claims to be straight, and she doesn't exactly ingratiate herself by doubting Melanie's word.

Even when you've hit rock bottom, you can always sink lower. If there's one thing Delta knows how to do, it's burn bridges.

How will Delta untangle the mess she's created when she's running on nothing but street-smarts and grit?

Stacy's Dad Has Got It Going On #OMYW #NewAdult #BestFriendsFather

I wrote Stacy's Dad Has Got It Going On one summer, thinking I'd put together a nice little fluffy sex romp about a geek girl and her roommate's father. And, in essence, I suppose that's what it ended up being, plot-wise, but I didn't expect the characters to take such firm hold. I didn't expect them to flesh out quite so fully. But they were insistent.

After I'd written this book, I realized it wasn't just for the nerdy girls who want to express themselves sexually in a non-Girls Gone Wild sort of way (like me) but it was also very much for those who grew up with addiction in their households (...like me).

There's something that stays with you all your life if you were raised by a parent or guardian with an addiction. It's a quality of trepidation, an immediate mistrust not only of people but of the potential impact of all substances. In this book, Savannah, the girl who falls for her roommate's dad, is all about clean living, and probably more out of fear of what alcohol and other things might do to her... or make her do.

But she really resents the assumptions other people make about her based on her choice not to drink or do drugs--people ask her to her face if she's a recovering alcoholic, or if she's a religious nut. She's been so focused on school and high achievements that she hasn't given much thought to guys, even though GOD does she love to get laid when the opportunity arises.

Against all odds, and much to my bewildered satisfaction, this book blossoms into a romance when Savannah, who is so like me in so many ways, finds someone who understands the quirks leftover from childhood are still a driving force of her life and personality. Let's just say it surprised me, and I always love it when a book can do that.

(This blog post was originally written when the first edition of Stacy's Dad came out in 2011.)

Stacy's Dad Has Got It Going On
By Giselle Renarde

When Stacy's dad shows up unannounced at her apartment, her roommate Savannah is smitten. Eric's career in humanitarian relief makes him college-girl catnip, and his good looks and hot body only sweeten the deal.

Eric doesn’t often visit, but after catching his wife with a younger man he doesn’t know where to turn for consolation. Stacy does her best to cheer him up, but no amount of daughterly compassion is going to heal his bruised ego. He needs a special woman to lick his wounds.

Too bad nobody warned Savannah that Eric would bring more baggage than she'd bargained for...

Excerpt:

“I’m not going to the hospital.”

“Yes you are,” Eric replied simply. But instead of pulling off his pajama pants and pulling on his jeans, he collapsed beside her on the couch. “Just give me five more minutes.”

She sighed and reached again for the remote, this time with more care. “See?” she said, turning down the volume. “As long as I don’t move too quickly, I’m fine. I’ll just put another round of ice on my ankle and in the morning I’ll be healed.”

Eric’s eyes popped wide open at the mention of ice. “You know, that’s not a bad idea.” Pressing both hands down on the couch, he pushed himself up and hobbled to the kitchen. He sighed as he opened the freezer. The cold seemed to revive him. He brought the tray out and snapped it back and forth before dumping the ice into a metal mixing bowl. Even before leaving the kitchen, he picked up one piece and traced it along the base of his jaw and down his neck. “That’s better,” he said. “Nothing like ice dripping down your neck to wake a guy up.”

“If you say so.” Savannah chuckled. “That’s never been my game.”

He brought the ice to the TV room and sat on the coffee table before placing the metal bowl on her ankle. She flinched, but she didn’t move her foot away. Anything so unnerving must be a help.

“How does that feel?” Eric teased.

“Like hell.”

He moved the bowl from her ankle and set it on top of a magazine. From it, he swiped a single cube. Savannah cringed as she watched it coming for her, but when the ice made contact with her skin, she was surprised it wasn’t painfully cold. If anything, it tickled.

“How about this?” Eric asked, tracing the cube around her slightly swollen ankle. “How does this feel?”

The ice melted quickly between his fingers and her flesh. Droplets of water trickled down her foot and dripped from her heel onto the throw pillow underneath.

“Good,” she said. To her surprise, it was true. “It feels really good, actually.”

“What if I do this?” Eric asked, picking up a fresh cube and tracing it up the inside of her calf. Shifting her robe aside, he circled it around her knee before drawing it slowing up her thigh. The cold made her tremble now. She felt its effects more between her legs than she had against her ankle. A whole line of water droplets tumbled down her inner thigh, soaking the terrycloth beneath her. She knew where he was going with this, and she wanted to show him she was on board.

Savannah untied her belt and let her robe fall open at the front. Her breasts were warm and soft with sleep. “Do my tits,” she bid. “With the ice. Make them hard.”

A churlish grin bled upon Eric’s pink lips. “You want me to?”

Giselle's Lost Treasures: 14 Erotic Tales

My latest book is an erotic anthology comprised of fourteen short stories that have never appeared in print. They're stories I've written over the past fourteen years--many submitted to multi-author collections but never published.

As I wrote the blurb for this book, I kept asking myself: how do I convey to you that the stories in this book aren't pure garbage? (I have incredibly low self-esteem, by the way.)

The short stories I've written have been published in more than 200 erotic anthologies, over the years, including many Best Of books, as well as winners of a wide variety of awards. But not every story makes the cut, and some of those appear in Giselle's Lost Treasures.

But many of these stories have a much stranger history. Many of them actually WERE selected for publication. And then the publisher got bought out by another company, and the new people scrapped the vast majority of the old books, so my beautiful stories were left without a home.

Then there's a little tale called Love Yourself First.

When I was compiling Giselle's Lost Treasures, I knew in the back of my mind that Love Yourself First had never been published. I needed to make sure I had a rejection letter on file. The last thing I wanted was to receive an acceptance from the editor and have to swallow my pride and admit I'd already published it myself. That's a great way to earn a bad reputation, as well as the irritation of an editor.

So I checked my email. I checked again. I checked a third time.

I didn't have a rejection email regarding Love Yourself First. Because I'D FORGOTTEN TO SUBMIT THE STORY FOR CONSIDERATION. Talk about stupid. I even found an email back-and-forth with the editor where I'd assured them I would submit a story for their upcoming anthology the next day. Well, I never did that.

Maybe I don't need to earn a bad reputation. Maybe I already have one. I certainly hope not. It isn't malice--it's forgetfulness, I swear.

Giselle's Lost Treasures turned out to be a collection I'm very proud of. It includes a variety of stories on the literary end of erotic fiction. I invite you to buy a copy today and enjoy!

Juliet’s Diary: My Secret Plague Journal (The #LesbianDiaries, Book 4)

Let's call this one an unplanned book.

I started writing 7 new novels between January and March of this year.

JULIET'S DIARY wasn't one of them.

At the time, my mom was in the hospital and I couldn't concentrate on anything. I'd write between five and ten thousand words on a new book, then I'd drop it and start something new.

And then I dropped them all.

Why?

Because the COVID pandemic happened.

I kept opening all these manuscripts and thinking "I really should finish this," but they all felt completely irrelevant. They were from the before-times. I don't know about you, but ever since this pandemic started, I've been watching TV shows and panicking because "Those characters aren't social distancing! They just shook hands! What are they thinking?" It would send me into a panic every time.

So I decided to start a new book--a book set in the now-time, addressing the current pandemic. My mother asked me, "Do you really think people will want to read that?" I'm not sure. I think some people will and some people won't. I wrote it, in part, as a way to process what's going on right now.

JULIET'S DIARY is the fourth book in my Lesbian Diaries series. These books are connected in theme only, so they can be read in any order.

If you're looking for a novel set in the now-times, I wrote one for you. Here it is.

Juliet’s Diary
My Secret Plague Journal
Series: The Lesbian Diaries
Book: 4
Release Date: May 21, 2020
ISBN: 9780463259344

Juliet is young and in love. Problem is, there’s a pandemic gripping the planet. She knows she’s not supposed to leave the house, but her lust for her girlfriend makes her defiant. How can Juliet get close to Romi if she has to stay away?

A Tale of Three #Taboo #Erotica #Anthologies, or Testing the KU Waters in 2019

In case you haven't heard about Lexi Wood, she's the sock puppet who lives in my apartment and writes taboo erotica for me to publish.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01B3C3492?tag=lexiwood-20
Two years ago, Lexi wrote 6 brand new, never-before-published stories about stepdaddies and stepdaughters doing the nasty. Usually I publish Lexi's stories individually, but since I had 6 in my possession that had not yet been published wide, I figured I'd bundle them together and introduce them to Kindle Unlimited for 90 days.

I'm not sure why I made the decision to put New Taboo Erotica in Kindle Unlimited. I almost never put anything in KU, seeing as I have a monstrous fear of commitment--so much so that being exclusive to one retailer even for 90 days makes me jittery.

But I made the decision, and, boy, was I glad!

As an author, as a business, as an author-business, I generally rely on a long tail of sales to earn my income. We're talking mediocre-to-poor sales spread out over years, even decades. That's how I operate. I view every book I write as a long-term investment.  I don't expect it to earn its keep within a week of being published, or even within the initial 90 days. If I had a baby (highly unlikely), I wouldn't expect it to walk and talk at 3 months. I view my books in the same way.  At 90 days, they're still infants.

That's how I operate. I don't have monumental expectations of anything I publish.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01B3C3492?tag=lexiwood-20
So when New Taboo Erotica brought home the bacon, I was blown away.  Truly.  I don't think any other book I've written has paid my rent in the first month of its existence. I know there are a lot of authors who rely on new release income spikes, but I'm not one of them.

New Taboo Erotica felt like a boon, and the results came as a big surprise.

Still, by the end of that 90 day exclusivity period, pagereads had trickled off, so I took the book out of KU and sent it out into the wilds of the big wide world.

The next year, I decided I would do it all over again.

I didn't see any reason why lightning wouldn't strike twice.

Except that Amazon's algorithms seem to change on almost a weekly basis, and you can never expect the same thing to work from month to month, much less year to year...

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071CVP5MY?tag=dondes-20
At any rate, I instructed Lexi to write 6 more brand new taboo erotica stories.  I bundled them together, called them New Taboo Smut, and published them into KU last winter.

It was a total flop.

I'd tried to replicate my initial success using the same steps, the same template, the same theme, the same author... and the result was utter and dismal failure.

What a let-down.

So why on earth would I try it again this year?

Well, I didn't actually plan this.  I'll start by saying that.

November was National Novel Writing Month. I planned to... you know... work on a novel. But then my grandmother died, and I was still reeling from the tragic death of my cousin last summer, and grief sent me spiraling.

Most unexpectedly, it was Lexi who saved me.  She took over, planting herself at my computer and spewing out story after nasty, taboo story.  She was uncontrollable! She'd finish one story and immediately start on the next.  She'd have two on the go simultaneously.  It was wild.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MLW8Z3F?tag=dondes-20
What we ended up with were 6 brand new taboo erotica stories. And these ones were themed: sex-with-an-ex. How can a stepfather and stepdaughter also be exes?  Well, you'll obviously have to read these six stories to find out.

With these 6 previously unpublished stories at my disposal, and at the same time of year I'd published New Taboo Erotica and New Taboo Smut, it seemed only natural to continue my KU experiment.  Well, it wasn't an experiment the first two times, but it is now.  As much as I distrust and dislike KU, curiosity got the best of me.  I NEED to find out what will happen in 2019, on my third attempt to publish a bundle of 6 new taboo erotica stories by Lexi Wood.

The book is called Taboo Sex with an Ex.  Will it be a huge success?  I doubt it.  Will it be a dismal failure?  Probably!  Don't you love my optimism?  Hey, I'm a realist.  Everything seems to be tanking these days.

But I'm giving Taboo Sex with an Ex the opportunity to succeed in its initial 90 days.  Lexi's stories are scorching, they really are.  She writes dirty stuff.

If you're into dirty stuff--especially dirty stuff with a daddy fetish and a focus on the tension that exists between ex-lovers--you're going to want to read this collection. And I don't just say that because I want your sweet, sweet KU pagereads... although that's definitely part of it. These stories deserve to be read. They're trash in the best sense of the word.  They're filthy, forbidden garbage stories that will get you off just like they got me through a period of intense grief.

They're just that good.

Am I skewing the results of my KU experiment by asking you to read Taboo Sex with an Ex? Maybe. But it doesn't matter. This isn't real science. It's just me and Lexi, earning a living with our sex writings.

Classic Giselle: #Queer and Quirky #Erotica

https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/786590?ref=GiselleRenardeErotica
For the past year or so, I've had this idea bouncing around my brain: an anthology of "Classic Giselle" erotica--stories I wrote at the very start of my career.

When I first started writing, there was only one person who believed in me: my grandma, of all people.  I love grandmas who are cool with sex stuff. I love that I've got one. I knew that, when I released my Classic Giselle anthology, it should somehow honour my grandma.

If you follow me on twitter, you probably know by now that my grandmother's been in hospital for nearly a month.

When she was admitted, she was delirious. She's got a number of infections and she's not doing great.

I don't know how things'll turn out in the end, but I decided now is the right time to honour my grandma with an anthology of classic erotica. It's actually a lot of fun. My grandma's pretty hilarious. She wouldn't want a book made in her honour to be all depressing.

So I've put together a collection of ten stories I wrote way back when, and that collection is called Classic Giselle: Queer and Quirky Erotica.

Thing is, I've also been reflecting on how much I appreciate my readers.  With Valentine's Day coming up, I figured this book would make a nice thank you gift.  So, from now until February 14 2018, the ebook is absolutely free at stores like Kobo, iTunes, Smashwords, BN and eXcitica.

After Valentine's Day, Classic Giselle will cost money. But, again in honour of my grandmother, I'll be donating all the royalties I earn from Classic Giselle throughout 2018 to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB).

When my grandma's vision began to decrease due to macular degeneration, the CNIB was there for her every step of the way. And when I say they were there, I mean RIGHT THERE. In her house. People came in to teach her how to adapt to her changing vision.

My grandmother is now legally blind. She's always been a gadget geek, and the CNIB introduced her to accessibility technologies that have proven invaluable in navigating the world. And even tricks like how to pour yourself a glass of water when you can't see the water. Or the glass. They've done so much for her, and this is my way of acknowledging their help and care.

https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/786590?ref=GiselleRenardeEroticaClassic Giselle is a double-whammy thank you. No, I'm wrong. It's a triple threat thank you. It's a thank you to readers for actually, you know, reading my words. It's a thank you to my grandma for believing in me. And it's a thank you to the CNIB for helping my grandma over the years.

It's been an exhausting couple weeks, but I'm so pleased to be able to give you this book of strange and silly stories.  Free until Valentine's Day from the following ebook stores:

Being Bad: 3 #Erotic Stories of #Hot #Sex in Public Places

This book was not a mistake. It was simply... unexpected.

A lot of my recent ebook releases have been unexpected, lately. I'll tell you how they came about.

See, I've been recording audio versions of lots of my erotica shorts. I started out recording them for my Audio Erotica Patreon, but I thought, hey, I've got all this content. Why not release little audiobooks now that I have access to ACX and other audio distribution sources? Brilliant!

But here's the thing: many of my erotica shorts are... well, just that: short. Recorded, the shorter ones are only ten or twenty minutes long.

No problem, thought I.  I'll package the shorter ones together, in threes. Three is such a great number for erotica, don't you think?

But once I'd created those audiobooks I thought... wait a minute... I can't upload these to ACX.

Why?

Because, in order to upload an audiobook via ACX, that book needs to be for sale at Amazon, either as an ebook or in print. To me, this is irritating. To Amazon, it makes perfect sense. They own everything, including ACX.

So that meant I needed to work backwards and create ebooks of my audiobooks, then upload the ebooks before I could upload the audiobooks!

Sometimes this job is very tiring.

Anyhoozle, I've been uploading these ebooks quietly in the background. I wasn't really thinking of them as books in their own rights, more like a means to an end. But, as it turns out, readers seem to be snapping up my little threesomes of stories. Who knew? Not I.  I can never predict what will sell and what won't.

Today I've been uploading a little jewel called Being Bad: 3 Erotic Stories of Hot Sex in Public Places. The stories in this collection are just little quickies, but they are steamy and sassy and I think you'll love them, if you haven't read them already.

Best part about this fast little read is that it's a cheapie, only $0.99 a most vendors!

Hey, Giselle! Why did you write Nanny State? #lesbian #ageplay

I created a little video about why I wrote Nanny State. It's the first in my new "Why did you write this book?" video series which I'm sure will be greatly successful and I won't give up on it after three episodes. (Oh, who am I kidding? Two episodes...)

Anyhoo, enjoy the mellifluous sound of my voice!

Here's the direct link in case I fail at embedding the way I fail at so many things in life: https://youtu.be/tRvEN550944

Sweet watched and she was like, "Sounds just like you, complete with your snorty little giggle." heh well it IS me (complete with my snorty little giggle)
