The Big Book of Orgasms blog tour has found its way to Donuts and Desires.

The Big Book of Orgasms is a collection of 69 Sexy Stories, edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel and published by Cleis Press.

I've got a copy of the anthology sitting right beside me because I'm a contributor to the book, so here's what I'm going to do: choose a story at random and live-blog review it... right before your eyes!  This is probably the worst way in the world to review fiction, but at least it's original.

So, let's flip through this book and choose a story:

Chains of Love by Lily K. Cho

That's the story I'll be reading.  Starting... NOW!

Ooh, second-person present tense.  I like it already.  Love the idea of a pretty girl telling me what she's going to do to me, and at the start of this tale, she's dressing for me, in thigh-high hose and red lingerie.  Whoa.  How did she know?  I melt for thigh-high hose and red lingerie.

She's describing every movement, every interaction of her lingerie and her skin.  And she's putting on a collar and chain.  Oh god...

The writing is sensual, expert, and alluring.  This isn't amateur hour.  This is the real deal.

Finally, "I" arrive on the scene, finding this collared girl waiting for me.  Wow, I'm impressed.  I can't wait to find out what she's going to do next.  And what "I" will do, too.

It just gets better, people.  Impressive use of language to coyly string the reader along, and I'm excited to read about "my" erection.  I wasn't sure whether "I" would have one of those, but I kind of hoped "I" would.  It's a great fantasy for a queer girl like me.  I love the image of putting my rigid cock in this pretty girl's mouth.

Wait a sec... "My cock is painfully hard..."

My girl has a cock.  Or my girl is a guy.  I'm going to picture her as a pretty girl with a throbbing erection--not much of a stretch for me, since my girlfriend happens to be trans.

Oh, it just gets better.  My god, I can hardly breathe as I read this story.  My throat has gone dry, but I won't let myself up for water until I finish.  Oh, there's a lot of fucking going on right now.  And orgasms.  Well, it is called The Big Book of Orgasms, after all.

What an oddly apt story for me to have chosen at random.  It was perfect for me.  Spooky.

And there are 68 more stories in this anthology, so I'm sure you'll find one that's perfect for you.

AND as I close the book and take another look, I realize I've been picturing the woman on the cover as the pretty girl in my story.  That's funny.  The power of suggestion...
