#MySexySaturday Tangled Hearts

In case you can't get enough menage erotica, I'm going to tell you about a box set that's really quite a steal.

Tangled Hearts contains NINE menage romances, including my Christmas story ALL THE WAY!

When Josie invites her high school boyfriend Kaz to stay with her family over the holidays, there are a few things she doesn't anticipate: Kaz admitting he's never been with a woman after all these years? That's a weird surprise. Her husband Rob's attempt to give Kaz a little training in the hot tub? A weird and very sexy surprise. But after the married couple treats him to some of the best nights of his life, who will Kaz fall for?

Since it's My Sexy Saturday, I want to share 7 paragraphs from ALL THE WAY. This excerpt comes from a hot tub scene. Mmm... snowy wintertime hot tubbin'!

Josie ran across the deck in flip-flops, kicking them off as she threw her towel over the cleared deck chair. The cold didn’t even manage to catch her up before she slipped her skin beneath the warm water. It bubbled away like a witch’s brew as she leaned into the jets next to Rob. She reached for his hand as he reached for hers, and they found each other’s thighs instead, which was just as good.

Kaz sat across from them, which seemed fortuitous. Even together in the same hot bubbles, they could get away with murder under the hydric hum of the tub.

“Your head’s not too cold?” Rob called to Kaz over the noise.

“Huh?” he replied, placing a hand behind his ear. “I can’t hear you.”

“Perfect,” Rob whispered to Josie as he slipped his fingers between her legs.

Kaz shrugged and closed his eyes, at one with his jets. His seat was roughly the same as hers, with water flows attacking the stress in her lower back, upper back, mid back, not to mention her butt.

The one thing Kaz didn’t have was a husband’s naughty fingers creeping under turquoise bathing bottoms. The wetness that dear hubby came across was more than just water. It was the very nectar of Josie’s lust for him. She couldn’t very well mount her man with Kaz across the way, even if his eyes were closed...

Go ALL THE WAY with the Tangled Hearts box set!

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Fill Out This Form

Friends, Authors, Country Mice (and City Mice), lend me five bucks? I mean five minutes.

I miss you. I really do.

I used to spend tons of time online during the day. We used to play together, you and me, mostly on Twitter, and that was fun... but I didn't get a lot of work done. I write for a living. I NEED to work during the day if I want to pay my bills (and I do want to pay my bills, and eat food, etc) so I haven't been around to play much lately.

But I want to hear from you, and that's why I've created "Tell Me What You're Up To Tuesday."

Every Tuesday I want to post one of these little casual chatty mini-interview type things here at Donuts and Desires. It's an opportunity for you to tell me (and readers) what's up with you and also showcase one of your books.

If you're an author, I'd love to hear from you. I'm posting the interview form below, but it's also accessible by following the link at the top of the blog called "Authors! Come Here!"

Update: This interview is no more. You missed it. Sorry!

#MySexySaturday Wedding Heat: Saturday

Oh my goodness gracious, this excerpt I'm about to post...

You wouldn't think it came from a story about a married couple. Or maybe you would. Depends on your perspective on married sex, I guess.

Suki and her husband Simon are incredibly kinky. You'll encounter them a few times in the new Wedding Heat: Saturday box set.

Since it's My Sexy Saturday, I'm posting 7 sexy paragraphs from the most popular story in the entire Wedding Heat series: Wife Watching.

In this story, Suki picks up a stranger, Arthur, and brings him up to their hotel room so her husband can watch and learn:

“Call me a slut.”

His fingers stalled inside her pussy, like the request surprised the action right out of him. “Are you a slut?”

“Yes,” she hissed, tossing her head back. Her pink nipples pointed straight at the ceiling. Simon wished to hell Arthur would lean down and catch them between his teeth. Bite her breasts. Tease her. Hurt her. She liked that.

“Slut,” Suki said, drawing out the S. She licked her fingertips and sent them to her clit. “Arthur, honey, I’m such a fucking slut.”

“Yeah?” His fingers moved faster in her pussy.

“Yeah, baby.” She gasped for breath as she toyed with her clit. “Oh fuck, that’s good.”

“And that’s just fingers.” Arthur chuckled. “Wait until I get my fat dick inside you... slut.”

The Wedding Heat: Saturday box sets contains over $18 worth of kinky erotica, queer erotica, menage erotica, and even some love on the side!

Where can you get this new collection?

Check Out This Gaping Slash!

Thank you very much, Canada Post.
I'm trying to come up with some kind of joke about how The Big Book of Domination will jump out of its envelope whenever it damn well pleases, whether it's arrived at its destination or not. As you can see, my contributors' copies barely made it to my door without spilling out. Thaaaanks. This is after Canada Border Services fisted my Nine-to-Five Fantasies last week. The government just can't keep their paws off my smut.

Timing is a funny thing. As I'm writing this blog post, I happen to be watching America's Funniest Home Videos (don't judge) and they happen to be showing videos of dogs wearing costumes. Funny timing because the story I wrote for The Big Book of Domination is also about a costume.  No dogs, though.

Night Nurse is a funny story. I read it over when my contributors' copies came and I'd forgot how cute it was. It's like... cotton candy domination, but that's what I love about it. A lot of BDSM erotica can get really heavy. I often write heavy.  I'm glad I didn't in this instance, because this character-driven story wanted to be light.

It's not forced feminization, but it kind of is.  It's cross-dressing erotica, but it kind of isn't. It's a story about a married couple with a great sense of humour, about a guy who doesn't take himself too seriously, about a woman who likes the look of a man in a naughty nurse uniform.

It's also a case where the partner who's tied up is totally in charge.

She reached for his crotch. “I’m bad.”

With a squeal, Steve shuffled backwards. His cute canvas tennis shoes squeaked against the hardwood floors. “Keep those hands to yourself, young lady, or I’ll have to bring out the restraints.”

Joanne arched forward. “You wouldn’t dare.”

“Just watch me!” Steve grabbed the Velcro pads from the dresser and strutted haughtily to the bedside. “Hands up against the iron posts.”

“Make me!”

“You’re fighting a losing battle, young lady.” Steve grabbed both wrists as she tussled against him. “Don’t even bother. You’ll never win.”

Well, maybe not totally...

There's more to come in this hop of blogs. Where and when? Who can say? Oh, I can:

Warning: There Will Be Buttsex (or, Who's Afraid of the Big Bisexuals?)

I don't generally read reviews of my own work, but sometimes I glance at reviews of box sets I'm in--and I'm in Tangled Hearts big-time.

Tangled Hearts is a menage collection that came out recently (you can still get it for $0.99, but act fast because the price is going up soon) and I glanced at the Amazon page just now to grab the link. I see it earned itself a 1-Star review from a reader who objected to all the bisexuality/man-on-man content in our menage collection.

I'm biting my tongue so hard right now.

Just to be clear, my book, ALL THE WAY, which appears in Tangled Hearts, is FULL of bisexuality. There's a bunch of M/M in there, and F/M and MFM menage and MMF menage. Josie and her husband and her high school boyfriend get involved with each other in pretty much every way they can think to. I haven't read the 8 other novels that appear in Tangled Hearts, but apparently there's a lot of men bein' bi.

So if you don't like it when men have sex with each other, don't buy this box set.

This has been a public service announcement from the Department of Queer.

When hearts collide, there are bound to be sparks. But when a duo turns into a wickedly passionate menage, there's unstoppable fireworks! In this brand new collection of steamy menage stories, all of your secret desires and wicked fantasies will come to life. Grab your copy of our exclusive box set and surrender to the burning desire of these deliciously naughty tales!

Tangled Hearts features all of your favorite boyfriends, including alpha male bikers, powerful shifters and dangerously obsessive men that will take your breath away! Use the preview feature to read the full description of each story and let the sinful fun begin.

#MySexySaturday Getting It On the Go: Gay Public Sex Stories

I've got so much going on this week it was hard to choose one book to showcase for My Sexy Saturday.

For those who haven't been here before (on a Saturday), My Sexy Saturday involves posting an excerpt of 7 words, sentences or paragraphs from a current release or work in progress.

This week, we're looking at my new mini-anthology Getting It On the Go: Gay Public Sex Stories. While they're certainly explicit, most of the shorts in this collection are also warm and fuzzy--especially "Stranded with the Professor," which takes place Christmas night.

Here's an excerpt from the part of the story where Jacob and the professor are trapped in a car and forced to take off all their clothes and cuddle together in warm laundry to preserve body heat:

“You won’t tell your parents…?”

Jacob smiled. “I won’t tell them if you don’t tell them… whatever happens.”

Max drew closer. His body heat met Jacob’s back, and then his skin did too. Chest to back, arms circling around, hard cock lodged between two very receptive ass cheeks.

Yes, thank you!

Jacob couldn’t get over the mass of that erection, or the heat coming off it. The professor’s arousal encouraged his to swell. He ached to touch it, but he was frozen in place. Couldn’t move a muscle.

“If I’ve been rude to you, I apologize.” Max hugged Jacob hard, then planted a hot kiss at the crook of his neck. That mustache tickled, but Jacob didn’t laugh. “I’m not the type to talk about my emotions, but I appreciate your compassion—more than you’ll ever know.”

Jacob warmed from the inside out. “You can do anything you want to me. I mean it. Anything.”

Get ready. A bunch of buy links are coming at you:

Hide & Seek at Bay & King (and a dirty story about the financial district)

Remember yesterday?  Yeah, me neither. (kidding)

Yesterday I promised to hide a copy of Alison Tyler's "Nine-to-Five Fantasies" somewhere in Toronto's Financial District. Well, I did it today! It's done! And now I'll tell you where it is/was (not sure if someone's scooped it up yet--it was pretty well-hidden).

I hid my signed copy of Nine-to-Five Fantasies in a big black newspaper box on the northeast corner of Bay and King. Know what I mean? It's one of those huge multi-paper boxes that's about the size of a freight train. Okay, not quite, but I put the book in the bottom left cubby thingy. It's unlocked.

It could still be there. Who knows? Not me, or I'd tell you. Have a look tomorrow morning if you work in the downtown core. You could be the lucky recipient of a free book of workplace erotica! Lucky you! I wouldn't normally leave erotica lying around, but there aren't that many impressionable youths wandering around the financial district--trust me, I worked there for about three weeks in my twenties.

Anyway, good luck to all and if you're reading this because you've already found the book and you're wondering who the hell Giselle, HI! You found me.

While we're on the topic, I wrote a short story about the financial district a few years ago.  Think I should post it here? Yeah, of course I should:

Little Lamb on Bay Street

by Giselle Renarde

Mary had a little lamb whose fleece was white as snow.

Well, she didn’t actually have a lamb; that fluff-ball was a hypo-allergenic bichon called Gopher. And she certainly wasn’t a shepherdess, but she did have a penchant for blue gingham. She wore that silly frock over so many layers of crinoline she looked like some kind of hillbilly ballerina. It was the bonnet that really gave her outfit an air of authenticity, though.

It was Mary’s own fault that people stared, but all the attention made her girlfriend Katia very uncomfortable. There was no way to beat Mary, so she might as well join the girl in dressing like a total freak. Anyway, lesbians were invisible, especially in public. Especially in pairs.

Bright and early Monday morning, Mary stood at the corner of Bay and King, deep in the wilds of the business jungle. Suits all blended together, a blur of grey and blue and black. Against this seething backdrop, Katia approached. The smile on Mary’s lips made it all worthwhile.

“Peter Pan? Really? You’re such a queer,” teased the hillbilly ballerina, setting Gopher down so she could grab Katia’s ass.

“Well…yeah!” costumed Katia replied. “I wouldn’t be out there fucking girls if I were straight.”

“What girls have you been ‘out there’ fucking?” a quite contrary Mary pouted. “I thought you loved me…”

Katia rolled her eyes as a windstorm of business drones pushed past. “You and you alone.”

Amidst the crowds on Bay Street, Peter Pan pulled her little shepherdess close and kissed her pink lips, swollen with anticipation. Soft tongues mingled ferociously. Katia slid a naughty hand between her lover’s thighs and met damp cotton panties. Mary was wet just waiting for her to arrive, and Katia pressed her palm against that hot mound, stroking, rubbing, teasing.

The sea of suits parted for them, like they weren’t even there. Like they didn’t exist. But Gopher’s leash caught somebody’s ankle, and there was a shriek and a muffled growl and a “Get your dog out of the way!”

Giggling, Mary pulled Katia against the rough brick of the nearest building. The girls resumed their kiss while Gopher looked away, as if to give them privacy. Katia took the opportunity to get her hand back in between Mary’s soft-as-satin thighs. No, that wasn’t enough. She needed that wetness against her fingers, and dug inside her girlfriend’s cotton panties, finding unimaginable heat down there.

And juice! God, her girl had the juiciest pussy in the city, and Katia plunged her fingers up inside that hot, wet slit, fucking it slowly, savouring the sloppy squelching sounds it made with every pass.

“Mmm-hmmm!” Mary squealed without breaking away from their kiss. “Mmmm!”

Katia knew what her sweet girl liked, and gave it again and again, getting her fingers all wet in there, and then pulling them out to slather Mary’s clit with her very own juice. Mary arched against the wall and groaned, spreading her legs to give Katia better access to that fat clit. Who knows how long Mary had been aroused before Katia arrived? The girl was always ready, or so it seemed.

Slapping her favourite girl’s pussy, Katia sucked Mistress Mary’s tongue. They writhed together against the wall while Katia slammed her whole palm against Mary’s engorged clit, making the girl yelp.

Rough now, rubbing that nub, really going at it, summoning the orgasm lying in wait.

Oh, it was close. Katia could taste it on Mary’s tongue, and she just kept stroking that pussy, then fucking it fast, stroking and fucking in alternation, anything to make Mary come.

Amidst the morning rush, Peter Pan scoured the shepherdess’ clit. They were green and blue amidst a sea of drab, devouring one another, embracing with a sizzling sort of heat most of these high finance zombies wouldn’t know if it bit them on the ass. Mary knew it, and moaned into Katia’s mouth as her orgasm came on strong.

Oh, there was no other moment like this. Money couldn’t buy the pleasure of making a beautiful young woman come so hard she could barely stand, and doing it in public, right there on a city sidewalk.

Nobody on Bay Street batted an eye.

Working Hard or Hard at Work?

Someone's getting a free book!

I got some great stuff in the mail today and some of it's for you (maybe, depending on where you are and whether you think you're lucky, punk!).

First exciting thing is a review copy of The Ultimate Guide to Sex After 50 by Joan Price. This one's for me (not for you! *smack*) and I can't wait to dive right in. Review to come... after I read the book. I'm pretty responsible that way.
This is a terrible picture. Just terrible. Stupid crappy webcam.
On to the next. Pay attention, because this is where YOU come in...

I received my contributor's copies of a new erotic anthology called Nine-to-Five Fantasies (edited by Alison Tyler!) and here's what I'm thinking: since I'm going to be in Toronto's business district tomorrow and this book has a workplace focus, I'm going to HIDE this copy SOMEWHERE downtown.
My webcam is the worst

Where? I would tell you, but I don't know yet. Maybe somewhere along Bay Street or King or Queen or Yonge or... who knows? Not me. Because I'm not that organized. Could be set gently in the lobby of an office building. Could be placed on a table in one of the fast food restaurants along The Path. Could be squirreled away in a free newspaper box. You don't know because I haven't done it yet.

But I will! Tomorrow! So be on the lookout, and if you spot this book it's YOURS! And it's signed! By ME!
I'm terrible at signing books and writing with Sharpies.
Tangentially, I'll mention that Canada Border Services fully investigated the envelope my Nine-to-Five Fantasies arrived in... from both ends! Oooh, that's kinky.

Proudly fisted by the Canadian government

I thought I was getting dumped, but actually...

You know how I've got this adorable combination of self-effacing Canadianism and full-blown low self-esteem?

Well, here's what happens when you're a self-effacing Canadian with low self-esteem: you get a manila envelope in the mail from one of your favourite publishers, and you think: "This is it. They're returning my rights on all my work. I did something to piss them off, or my work isn't selling, or they discovered my deepest, darkest secrets and they're dumping me."

That wasn't it.  I tore open the envelope and here's what was in it:

Alpha's Claim: Winner - Best Anthology 2014

Isn't that awesome?  I mean, apart from being included in an anthology that won a readers' choice award, how many publishers send you certificates in the mail?  I was so touched to receive this. Like, mushy touched right in the soft spot (the heart, people, the heart!).

Thank you, Evernight Publishing! Thank you, readers!  You really made my day.

But wait... there's more!

There was a second certificate in the envelope, for the Readers' Choice runner-up in Best Anthology! I had a story in that one too:

So I wasn't dumped after all. That's a relief. ;-)

#MySexySaturday There's a First Time for Everything (like sex, for example)

It's 2015 and My Sexy Saturday is back for more!

My Sexy Saturday is a weekly blog hop where authors share 7 words, sentences or paragraphs from one of their books or stories.

My latest piece of smut appears in a mini-collection of taboo virgin erotica (on sale for only $0.99!) called "There's a First Time for Everything."

It's about a high school dropout who's giving school another shot even though she feels stupid and she's older than everyone in her classes.  Her father's new girlfriend is super-smart and wants to help (just wants to be liked, really), but things are tense between the pair.

You know what happens when that tension breaks? It's a Kitty Versus Cougar smackdown on the kitchen table!

Enjoy 7 paragraphs from Kitty Versus Cougar. We join Shelby and her father's girlfriend Manon as they're recovering from a scuffle in the kitchen:

Manon spoke first. She said, “It must be difficult for you, living here with your father. You are an adult. You are accustomed to having your freedom, to come and go as you please, to drink and smoke and make love.”

“Ha!” I couldn’t help laughing, for so many reasons. “I had way less freedom when I lived with my mom. Why do you think I came here?” Before she could answer, I added, “You and my dad think I’m some kind of badass who spent the last year and half having knife fights and snorting coke off some biker dude’s dick. Well, you’re dead wrong. I don’t do drugs, I only fight with my fists, and I wouldn’t fuck a guy if you paid me.”

Manon’s eyes widened and a tense moment passed before she said, “Your father did not tell me this.”

“My father doesn’t know,” I said. “Neither does my mom, but I think she suspects. I think that’s why she was always so hard on me.”

Subtly closing her legs, Manon asked, “You sleep with women?”

“I would if they’d let me,” I muttered.

Manon’s long black lashes fluttered as she regarded me cautiously from across the room. This is exactly what happened with every other girl I had a crush on. Not that I had a crush on my dad’s girlfriend! No way. I hated her. But other girls, girls from work or wherever. After lusting from afar for ten billion years, I’d finally get up the nerve to go in for the kiss. Before my lips got anywhere near their lips, they’d swerve away and get all pissed off. Excuse me? They were the ones leading me on and then backing off at the last second. I should be pissed at them.

2015: The Year of Queer

One parade I wasn't late for.
Always late to every parade (if I show up at all), here I am with my New Year's Resolution!

For decades I never bothered with them. I've only just started back up. Last year's was stupid. I vowed to name all my characters after TTC subway stops. Well, by the time I'd finished replacing real people's real names with fake ones in Like It's 1999: Diary of a Teenager in Love with a Teacher, I'd pretty much used them all up. That was in February.

This year's is a good one.

I mentioned a couple weeks ago that I disappointed myself in 2014.  There were a few times I forced my characters to be straight when they weren't.  That probably sounds weird.  I'm the author.  I should be able to control every aspect of my characters' personalities... but, strangely, that's not how it works. Characters are real people--well, real fake people who only live in my head until I write them down.

A few times in 2014 I was working on books where, for one reason or another, I felt like readers were going to want my characters to be straight. Readers wouldn't like it if this girl was bi. Readers don't like bisexual women. Readers don't like lesbians. Readers don't like this, don't like that--keep it on the straight and narrow.  I had a lot of voices whispering in my ear that I wish I hadn't listened to, because I feel that I betrayed myself in doing so.

No more of that.

In 2015, no character will get shoved in the closet.

The readers I want are the readers who want me. My work has always appealed to people who are a little different. I couldn't appeal to the mainstream if I tried. I know that... because I've tried. And failed. I don't enjoy writing books that aren't me for a market I don't understand, so it's a lose-lose-lose-lose-lose situation.  Everybody everywhere loses.

That's why I hereby proclaim 2015 The Year of Queer. You can look forward to unapologetically queer books from me, like:

  • EVERYBODY KNOWS: a second anthology of heartfelt transgender erotica (trust me, it's going to be AMAZING! Even better than My Mistress' Thighs),
  • SAPPHIC CONFESSIONS: a book of lesbian confessions much like "Secret Confessions" but all lesbian, all the time!
  • GETTING IT ON THE GO: a mini-collection of gay public sex stories that's secretly available in print right now but shhh nobody knows so keep quiet about it...
  • THE OTHER SIDE OF RUTH: a later-in-life lesbian novel I've been working on for the past five years. If you've read the Audrey and Lawrence series, you'll remember Lawrence had a wife called Ruth. Well, while he's busy cheating on her with a much younger woman, "The Other Side of Ruth" is his wife's side of the story. She's not so innocent either. There is a certain neighbour girl...

And that's just the stuff that's already written!  There will be more. I'm in my ninth year as a professional writer. Trust me, I'm not ready to throw in the towel just yet.

2015 is going to be exciting, so stay tuned.

Forget the chubby-cheeked cherub. This Cupid's as mysterious as he is charming… and smoking hot to boot!

Saada and Toby have worked side by side at the café for years, so what's kept this perfect pair from getting together? The usual: other boyfriends, other girlfriends, same old story. Now the timing is right, it's a dark and stormy night, the boss has left early, and all the clocks have gone wonky. There's electricity in the air, and still the old friends need a push in the right direction.

Lucky for them the regular's hanging around well into the evening. He's a supernatural being otherwise known as Q (as in Q-pid) and his arrow's aimed straight at Toby's cute behind.

Author’s Note: The Regular is a bisexual MMF menage romance short that includes mature content not intended for readers under the age of eighteen.
