What not to Watch on Valentine's Day

Watch a romantic movie together. Note: Neither “Spaceballs” nor “Scary Movie” constitute a “romantic comedy.” Nor do any movies with exploding cars, crashing planes, serial killers, or the words “Live Long and Prosper.” Don’t let anyone tell you differently.

Have a great and romantic Valentine’s Day!

Almost twenty years have passed since Cain, the formidable T-Rex shifter, and his Ultimate Predators attacked the Shifting Sands Ranch. Jax, Dakota, and the rest of the Pack have matured and prospered. A new generation of shifters have come into their own at the Ranch, not least of which are twins Tai and Mal, who give their uncles no end of sass, just like teenagers should. Life is good, but the peace they’ve enjoyed is about to be splintered.

Cain left behind more than just his mark on the lives of the folks at the Shifting Sands Ranch, and his twin legacies are vengeful, lethal, hungry, and headed for the Ranch, intent on finishing what Cain began.

What happens when the next generation of shifters collide just like their parents' did? Who will survive? Who will come out on top?

An Erotic Valentine's Day Bible Reading (Seriously!)

As you may recall, last year for Valentine's Day I created an original animation and a Charles Spearin-inspired piece of music to go along with it. It was called i knew and expressed the emotions I felt the first time my lovely girlfriend Sweet walked through my door.

This year, I've created something equally heartfelt (though, admittedly, much less labour-intensive) for Sweet. It's a reading. It's a BIBLE reading. Seriously. And I hope like hell it's the most erotic bible reading you'll ever encounter. What you're hearing is Chapter 4 from Song of Solomon. If you listen carefully, you'll note my emotion gets the better of me and I'm choked by tears of love.

Please...enjoy...

Love and Hugs,
gigi

Food Fun for Valentine's Day

Food can add spice to sex. Go for the sweet stuff -- chocolate, honey, etc. Forget about the calories -- just drizzle and enjoy. Be creative; edible fingerpaints are a great way to add an artful element to your play. Note: I would avoid filling any body cavities with chili peppers. Most folks do not find internal combustion conducive to a romantic evening -- unless you’re into that sort of thing, in which case, go for it.

Have a great and romantic Valentine’s Day!

Getting that Spark Back for Valentine's Day

Brand new relationships have that magical spark where you just can’t get enough of each other. You’re going along great and before you know it, years have passed. Marriage, careers and maybe even kids have entered your lives. Somewhere along the way you lost that spark.

Perhaps you didn’t though. Perhaps it’s just been placed on the backburner to sizzle while other things were placed on the front. Think about it. When you start a relationship everything else is placed on to the side or even put on hold while you explore your feelings.

So how do you get that back? Can you even get it back?

I’m no relationship expert, but I think it depends on how much both parties want to get it back. If you’re both willing, why not try? Here’s an interesting idea. Have an affair with each other. Think about what people do when they cheat and then try it with your spouse.

What does that mean? Sneak around, leave each other notes, text or emails, or meet for lunch at a new place. Maybe an out of the way place like you would if you really were having an affair. And don’t show up in your ragged sweat pants. Your spouse can see that at home. Plus, you wouldn’t dress that way if you were having an affair. You’d go all out, put your best foot forward. During this “affair time”, don’t talk about the bills or the kids. Would you do that with your secret lover? No. You’d want to be interesting, focusing on each other.

Even if it doesn’t put the spark back, it sure sounds fun to try.

Mood Lighting for Valentine's Day

For excellent, romantic, Valentine’s Day sex, lighting is essential.

1. Under thirty -- the more light, the better.

2. Over thirty -- go for mood lighting -- indirect and soft.

3. Over seventy – It doesn’t matter. Be grateful you can still find the switch.

Have a great and romantic Valentine’s Day!

Quick Six Interview with PD Singer

1. Hi there! Welcome to Donuts & Desires. Would you be so kind as to tell us what type of stories you write?

PDS: My stories are mostly m/m contemporary - romance isn’t quite right, romance/adventure? Adventure /romance? The guys do get down for some lovin’ but the action is as important as the relationship. My “Mountain” stories are set in the Colorado high country and the characters work in a national forest as rangers or at a ski resort. I did sneak an m/m pirate story in there -- Arrr!

2. What are you reading right now?

PDS: I always have one fiction and one non-fiction book going at the same time; I’m in the middle of AK Miles’ “Taking it Easy,” which is m/m with truckers, and “Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds” by Charles Mackay. My tastes are eclectic.

3. I hear music in the background…what's playing?

PDS: The Old Blind Dogs - they are a Scottish/Celtic trad group, with a lot of other ethnic influences. The lead singer, Jim Malcolm (he’s since left the band, darn it) could read the phone book and I’d listen to every syllable.

4. Do you have a favourite naughty word?

PDS: The short, honest body part words: cock, balls, ass. Fuck is great, too, but only if it’s used in a positive sexual way.

5. Is there a word or phrase that absolutely makes you cringe?

PDS: “Fuck” when used in a negative way -- I hate that a joyful human interaction word can be used for doing someone wrong. Most of the more flowery descriptions of sex organs are cringe-worthy, or just make me laugh. Either way, it breaks the mood.

6. Be honest: What are you snacking on?

PDS: Chocolate covered pomegranate seeds. I get a bag at Costco now and then for a special treat. Want some?

7. How can readers find out more about you and your work?

PDS: All of my published stories are through Torquere Press, so see this handy link for a complete list. http://www.torquerebooks.com/index.php?manufacturers_id=275&main_page=index. My novel “Snow on the Mountain” came out very close to my Christmas short “Mistletoe on the Mountain;” both are continuations of Jake and Kurt’s story, begun in “Fire on the Mountain.” They stand alone, but you want to read them all. *wink*

To sum up “Fire” -- Forest rangers put out fires, not start them. How can Jake focus on patrolling the wilderness when his hot partner, Kurt, keeps throwing fuel on his libido?

They don’t have it any easier in “Snow” -- A winter spent working at a ski resort should be fun for Jake and Kurt, but there’s danger everywhere on the mountain. Good thing they have each other-- or do they?

“Fire on the Mountain” is also available at your favorite ebook sites such as AllRomanceEbooks and Fictionwise.

Free reads, news, and reviews are all on my website, http://pdsinger.wordpress.com/ , so swing by and get a little taste of the hot men in the high mountains!

I absolutely will check out your men. I wish I were on a mountain right now! Urban life is driving me a little nuts. Okay, more than a little. If I have to listen to any more hammering from the apartment downstairs, I am going to throw myself out the window. I think they're renovating the kitchen or something...I don't know...it's just loud and making it impossible to write. Argh.

Anyway, enough about me. Chocolate covered pomegranate seeds? Seriously? That sounds lovely but strange...like so many of us...

Okay, I'm starting to sound a little crazy. I'm going to stop now. Thanks for the interview!
Cheers,
Giselle

Sweet's Simple Secret to Eating Pussy

Finally, after years of trying, I've been successful in prying out Sweet's secret to eating pussy. It was very much lodged in a certain orifice (okay, her mouth) and it took some doing, but I got it out.

Sorry if this is TMI, but my girl eats pussy like you would not believe. She has skills. She has talent. If pussy eating were an Olympic sport, she'd bring me home the gold! I have never come so hard in my life as I have with her face between my legs.

In the past, every time I've asked her, "How are you doing that?" she's just giggled and said, "I don't know." This time I told her about our Valentine extravaganza here at Donuts & Desires and I said, "My readers would really love to hear your secret to great oral sex."

She gave in, all for you! Her advice is simple and general, but IT WORKS!!! Here's what she had to say about giving head:

its never about specific actions .. its about being aware of reactions and building on things that are working in the moment .. each time one makes love, feelings, attitude, pressures and general outlooks will make different actions more stimulating so to say do A or B or C is not the way to go .. explore.. work gently and build on what you feel in reaction from your partner during that particular time

take your time .. go slowly and feel how they react .. when you feel a reaction then remember the spot and use it .. be gentle .. take it slowly and remember you dont have to start with the pussy .. work up to it so they build the anticipation .. then wanting it they will accept a touch and mentally amplify it for you .. and when you hit THE spot its ever more
Thank you my Sweetheart!
Love and Hugs,
gigi

KS: So far I've published M/M and M/M/F erotica, mostly in an urban fantasy setting. I've also just done a short M/M historical set in 1904 Ireland. I'm also working on an urban fantasy thriller, with very little in the way of romance.

KS: Regenesis by C. J. Cherryh.

3. I hear music in the background…what's playing?

4. Do you have a favourite naughty word?

KS: Balls.

5. Is there a word or phrase that absolutely makes you cringe?

KS: Business double speak - Center of Excellence, realigning to meet market conditions, that sort of thing.
