In Toronto: FREE Art Program for Trans, Questioning and Queer Youth

It's Arts Week at Donuts and Desires, apparently.  I keep finding incredible opportunities for artsy people, and I can't hold back. I have to share them with you!

This one is called "Transcend" and it's a FREE art and activism program for Trans, Queer and Questioning young people in Toronto.  It's organized by Central Toronto Youth Services, and here is all the information I could pull from their website:

Transcend

Exploring Gender and Identity through Art and Activism: a group for Trans, Queer, and questioning youth age 24 and under
  • A 24 week FREE group starts in January 2013
  • Mondays from 6 – 9 p.m. at Central Toronto Youth Services
Tell your story through visual arts, writing, performance art and digital storytelling. No artistic experience necessary. The amazing Tristan Whiston and Syrus Marcus Ware will be our Artists in Residence.

Sounds like an amazing opportunity, right? If you're Trans in Toronto (hey, that would be a great name for a blog), take advantage.  It's free, after all.

Hugs,
Giselle
